Contact

No form, and the reason is the same reason there are no accounts.

This is a pre-launch draft, and it says so rather than pretending

There is no incorporated company behind EuropeDoor yet, so there is no legal person to be bound by this document and no data controller to be accountable under it. What follows is the position we intend to take, published early so it can be argued with — it is not a contract, and it will be reviewed by a lawyer and re-issued in the name of a real entity before anything on this site collects a payment or a personal detail.

There is no contact form, on purpose

A form collects a name, an email address and a message. That is personal data, and holding it requires a controller, a lawful basis, a retention period and a published privacy notice. None of those exist yet, so collecting it would be the first thing on this site to break its own rules.

What to do instead

  • A correction — a wrong fact, a closed museum, a price that moved. If you hold the repository, its issue tracker is the channel and every correction is public that way, which is better than an inbox. If you do not, there is no route yet: this is the one thing on the list with no answer, and naming a channel a reader cannot reach would be worse than saying so.
  • You run a business we list, or should — read how listings work first. Applications are not open, and the page says why.
  • You are a tourism organisationwhat we would and would not sell you.
  • Press — everything we would say is already written down: about, how it works, the scoring method.

What arrives with the company

A named address, a real inbox with a stated response time, and a form that only asks for what it needs. In that order.
