EuropeDoor lists experiences run by people who live where they happen. Listing is free. What costs is prominence, and we say so on the page rather than quietly sorting paid listings to the top.
Three tiers, and what each one means
Applied
Listed, unverified
You have submitted a listing and we have not yet checked it. It appears with that stated plainly, and it does not appear in any recommendation.
Reviewed
Business confirmed
We have confirmed you exist: a registration number or a guide licence, an address, and a person who answered the phone.
Verified
Checked in person or by a partner
Someone has been, or a partner organisation we name has vouched for you. Insurance is confirmed where the activity needs it, and prices published here are the prices you charge.
What we check
- You exist. A registered business or a licensed guide number in the country you operate in.
- You are there. An address, a phone that answers, and a person whose name goes on the listing.
- You are insured where the activity requires it — water, height, vehicles, food service.
- You said what it costs, including what is not included.
What we will not do
- Sell placement inside the Journey Planner. The planner scores on fit and distance; money does not enter it.
- Publish a listing whose owner we could not reach.
- Take a booking on your behalf until the payments and consumer-law work in how it works is finished and reviewed.
Applications are not open yet
This page describes the model so operators can tell whether it is worth their time. There is no form here on purpose: we will not collect business details before there is an entity to hold them and a published privacy notice to hold them under.
