Sephardic Thessaloniki, documented

Greece, where this project is. The register records the country and no finer position — coastline and frontiers from Natural Earth, public domain.

Thessaloniki was a majority-Sephardic city for four centuries. Almost the entire community was deported in 1943. The documentation of what was there is held in fragments across several countries.

What it needs

Archival digitisation, translation of Ladino material, and school programmes in the city itself.
