The Upper Lakes
Twelve terraced lakes joined by travertine barriers that are still growing about a centimetre a year. The boardwalks have no railings, which is part of it.
Veliki Slap
78 m, the tallest in Croatia, at the foot of the lower canyon. Heaviest after the snowmelt and reduced to a thread by late August.

Timed entry tickets sell out; the 7 am slot gives you an hour of empty boardwalk before the coaches from the coast arrive.
